Not long ago I was introduced to my local Dutch Country Market and I have to say that I am so totally in love!! While my in-laws were here I made sure we hit it up, I knew my mil would love it too! I have my favorites of course, but I found some new loves in some unexpected places. I picked up some amazing homemade ketchup, YUM! I also got some amazing cinnamon apple raisin bread that made unbelievable french toast the next morning, double YUM! I grilled wonderful thich cut maple bacon that night, again, YUM! Not to mention the fine home made lemon pickles. Finally, I picked up some chocolate covered bacon. I know what you are thinking, but my mil and I really liked it. Smoky, Salty, Sweet! It was so good. I admit no one else really loved it, but it is at least worth a try!

Dutch Country Love.

Chocolate flavored bacon? WOW! Now that IS worth a shot! LOL. Sounds like a pretty cool place to try some new things. :)
