What Do You Get When You Cross Felt with Googlie Eyes? Star Wars Awesomeness Thats What!

The Big Squid and I are a couple of sci/fi geeks. We of course, love Star Wars, and when there was a chance that he was going to be home for his birthday (unfortunately he wasn't) I was planning a Star Wars themed party. I spent all kinds of time I could have been sleeping, trolling the internet for fun, easy, and cheap things to do for it.
I found these little gems here and got inspired to do more. I haven't made bad guys yet, but that is my next step. Oh, and The Big Squid wants light sabers. I haven't made those yet either, but I don't think it matters since there are no bad guys to fight. They are finger puppets made out of felt and googly eyes. I cut triangles and ovals mainly, and then just little accents. The original post is linked at the bottom, if you go to it, you'll see I have gone a little nuts.lol.
